I just received my large tote made from the fox bane fibers pink woven fabric. The top edge is in pink velvet and the lining is pink damask. The bottom is charcoal grey waxed canvas. It is drop dead gorgeous. I am so happy to have it and it will see many bags of wool and numerous projects. The workmanship is excellent… as always. I have many bags from Michelle and she never disappoints. She is a delight to work with. Thank you so much.

This review for two handbags I just purchased: the East-West Handbag in Ikat silk and the Hobo Handbag in a lovely plum, dark purple faux leather with a complementary purple, gold, green stone pattern lining. These bags are simply stunning. the artisanship is superb, the colors are so striking. Michelle’s work is perfect and she is so easy to work with. I am a long time customer and she never fails to delight me. I recommend her work with out any reservations… treat yourself . I have one of these fish pouches that I have loved using for quite some time. I love that interchangeable needles/cords fit great inside for a project. I have wanted to get more for gifting to my knitting friends and have been waiting and hoping they would come back. I swooped up two more with the recent update. Just got my order – Hinterland purse bought for a Christmas present for a friend. This is a gorgeous bag… the rich blue vegan leather is so soft and supple. The red/blue flower lining is just perfect. This is a perfect style: a center zipper section with pockets on either side of the zipper section, magnetic closures and a shoulder strap. Beautifully made. Thank you Michelle… I could not be happier

This is the second time I have bought some bags – the first time was at DFW. They’re so wonderfully made, which makes them great to tote around but also are so beautiful.

I have 3 recent purchases: one custom large tote, one large tote from website and one extra large pouch from website.

Custom large tote: this tote is the design of the new large project bag:
15.5 inches wide, 11.5 inches high and 5.5 inches deep.
It has 4 different size pockets inside and a ring attached inside for holding supplies…the bottom is the waxed cotton canvas in a complimentary color..
both inside and outside are heavy cotton twill and 2 leather handles… and closes securely with 2 magnetic snaps…. Michelle worked with me to offer me fabric that was colorful and a design I wanted… the finished tote is stunning and makes my heart sing. outside is abstract red/purple/white and the inside is a brown /mustard color… could not be happier with the tote, Michelle’s help and the speed of work and shipping.

the second tote is also a new large project bag… purchased from her website. the same dimensions and the material is the heavy cotton twill with leather handles. inside are 3 large pockets and an attached ring for your accessories… the design is thoughtfully constructed two heavy magnetic snaps close it safely. Michelle’s fabrics are so unique and top quality… the bottom is waxed cotton twill and gives structure, stability and an artistic compliment… so happy with my totes and they are just work horse knitting bags…

My third purchase was new to me: a dumpling pouch extra large. this was truly a happy surprise… a really nice size.. it will hold 3-4 wound skeins of yarn and the project in progress. in happy colorful quilted cotton triangles sewn together and the top closes with a really strong and nice brass colored zipper. it is lined in a complimentary cotton material.. So many uses for this pouch… definitely recommend it… don’t know why it took me so long to try it.
all Michelle’s artisanship is excellent … she is a delight to work with and her shipping times are excellent. highly recommend her work… thank you Michelle…for a number of years of great totes!!!

Lovely bag! Super well made, perfect for holding two skeins and a length of scarf. The magnetic clasps make it easy to open a[nd] close with little effort, and the interior pocket perfectly holds my needles, hooks, and markers. The handles let me carry it around town, proudly showing off the beautiful fabric and design. I love it.

I placed my order on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, it made it in the mail and I received it Friday afternoon, the day of my daughter’s birthday! How Michelle did that, I don’t know but definitely appreciated it. This beautiful knitting bag with the cutest winter birds is certainly a craftsman piece! From the high quality fabric, to the beautiful sewing and quality straps. There’s a handy pocket inside and a place to hang your stitch markers. I love this sweet pink crossbody! This maker has such a talent with matching finishes. The cork leather has a hint of gold that is repeated in the metal accents. The strap length is generous enough for my plus-sized body. It’s definitely my go-to purse for spring!

I’ve ordered several project bags from Michelle over the years, and a few custom too. The quality and craftwomanship is superior to any of the many bags I’ve ever purchased at fiber fairs or on etsy. Each piece is remarkable, and will last forever, so I really don’t need additional ones, but who can resist the material and pattern choices Michelle uses? Not me. And the cross body bags are perfect for us older ladies who want our personal items secure, fyi!
