The color of this pretty hobo-style handbag has to be seen to be believed - it's the softest, prettiest green. Simple, but never plain! This pretty project bag is perfect for traveling or taking to a fiber fest, stashing in your suitcase, or carrying in your work bag - it'll keep your project clean and protected without a lot of extra bulk. It's made from linen-cotton in a soft natural color and features a Liberty Tana Lawn floral accent. The bag has a webbing grab handle, a ring on a ribbon for your stitch markers or small tools, and a drawstring closure. It's fully lined in the same natural linen-cotton with a smooth interior. The bag measures approximately 14" wide x 11" tall x 5" deep. That's more than enough room for a large shawl project and space for most sweater projects in lightweight to medium weight yarns. The bags can be machine washed on gentle (just remove the binder ring first), hang to dry, and can be ironed. Take care to avoid the draw cords, webbing handle, and ribbon when ironing as these can be damaged by high heat. These bags have clean, unfussy interiors without pockets. Too cute! These fish zipper pouches are colorful, joyful, and useful - a perfect combination! They make great notions or tool pouches inside your knitting project bag. They're a fun way to carry a few makeup essentials or cords and chargers inside your larger handbag. And they're absolutely adorable with their heads poking out of a Christmas stocking. They make great little pencil pouches, too, for the kids. Each pouch features a gorgeous combination of fabrics, and each fish has flappy fins and rivet eyes. Of course it's fully lined inside. The pouch is approximately 15 long overall, though the zipper pouch portion is 11" long x 5" tall at the fullest part (the pouch does not extend into the tail fin). Spot clean the cotton fabrics with a bit of diluted soap and water when needed. You can also machine wash the pouch on gentle/cold water, lay flat to dry. These little zipper pouches are made from repurposed designer home decor fabric samples. Did you know that samples are usually thrown away at the end of the season? These fabrics are too pretty for that! Each pouch is made from two samples. They are small, because this is the size of the samples. They're the perfect size for a small drop spindle, for a single skein project like a hat or mitts, for small tools and notions, and any small things you need to carry in a larger bag. I have several options - please select from the photos. Features:- high quality home decor fabrics
- a coordinating wrist strap
- nylon zipper that won't easily catch on most yarns (except yarns with a broad halo, like angora, but let's be honest - that'll catch on anything)
- fully lined inside
- each is approximately 8" across at the base, about 7.5" from the base of the zipper to the back of the pouch, and about 7.5" tall at the highest point. There are some slight variations from pouch to pouch but all are very close to these measurements.
