Bow Tote – Black and Green

This tote is so pretty! The main exterior is a heavy, waxed cotton canvas in black. The accent is the classic William Morris design, The Strawberry Thief, in an updated color palette of black, greens, and golds. The exterior pocket and base are genuine lambskin leather in lime green, and the tote closes with linen ties that make the prettiest bow. (It’s not hard to tie – just tie like your shoelaces and the heft of the ties will keep the loops looking full and rounded.)

It measures about 14″ wide at the top and about 12.5″ tall and 4″ deep. The exterior has a divided slip pocket in leather. The interior of the bag is waterproof canvas in ecru with the same Strawberry Thief trim as the exterior. There are 3 slip pockets in black waterproof canvas inside. The bag closes with the linen ties but if you prefer not to use them at times, just tuck them inside the bag. The leather handles have a generous 14″ drop for shoulder wear.

Waxed canvas is naturally water and stain resistant so just brushing away any dust should keep it looking great. Wrinkles or water spots (though both are very hard to see on black waxed canvas) can be removed by gently warming with a hairdryer. The cotton and linen fabrics can be spot cleaned, and the waterproof canvas only needs to be wiped with a damp paper towel. Please don’t ever machine wash or dry your bag.
