Large Project Bag – Christmas Birds

I love the pretty print, imported from Germany, on this large knitting project bag. It features fat little birds sitting on, singing around, and flying between holly boughs. The upper trim is a sweet red and white gingham, and the base is a heavy hand waxed cotton canvas in deep forest green. It would make the nicest gift for your favorite knitter or crocheter (especially if that person is you!).

The bag has leather handles and closes with two magnetic snaps at the top.

Inside, the bag is lined in forest green twill with 4 slip pockets. There’s a binder ring on a ribbon, perfect for holding your small tools like scissors, stitch holders, and stitch markers.

This bag will ship gently folded to keep shipping costs low. Any creases from shipping should smooth themselves out with a bit of use. The upper portion of the bag (cotton fabrics only) can be gently ironed but be careful to avoid waxed canvas base and leather handles. Stubborn creases in the waxed canvas can be removed by gently warming the waxed canvas with a hair dryer. When needed, the cotton fabrics can be spot cleaned with a bit of diluted soap and water.

Like everything I offer, this bag was made entirely by me in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home. It is one of a kind and ready to ship; the bag in the photos is the bag you’ll receive.
