Medium Project Bag – REPURPOSED Tapestry Sky

Did you know that designer fabric samples are typically thrown away at the end of the season? They’re too pretty and too useful for the landfill, so I’ve made one into a gorgeous project bag.

This bag is my medium size:

• approximately 12.5″ wide
• approximately 10″ high
• 4.5″ deep
• closes with a magnetic snap at the top
• fully lined in gray canvas
• 3 interior slip pockets
• a binder ring on a ribbon for  your stitch markers and small tools
• sturdy webbing handles for top or over the wrist carry, with a 3.5″ drop
• perfect size for a mid-sized project like a lightweight summer top, a wrap, or scarf

The fabric sample is a woven graphic print in sky blue-green and cream with wonderfully touchable texture. The base and top trim are sturdy handwaxed natural cotton canvas. Worried about a pale color? Keep in mind that waxed canvas is naturally water and stain resistant. The woven webbing handles in pale blue and cream are a pretty complement.

Like everything I offer, this bag was made entirely by me in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home. It is one of a kind; the bag in the photo is the bag you will receive!

Care:

• The exterior floral and lining can be spot cleaned with a bit of well-diluted soap and water.
• Waxed canvas is naturally water-resistant, so just brush away and dirt or dust.
• If water marks appear on the waxed canvas, from rain for example, they can be removed by gently warming with a hair dryer. Crease marks can also be removed this way.
• Do not machine wash or dry, or submerge the bag.

This bag will ship flat.
