Simple Project Bag – Mustard Floral

This pretty project bag is a perfect gift for your favorite knitter (is it you??). I’ve designed this project bag to be simple – easy to fold up or pack for travel to your favorite fiber fest, easy to take this project bag along inside your larger day bag. It’s still beautifully handmade to a high standard, fully finished and made to last.

The main fabric and lining are a linen-cotton blend in mustard yellow and the feature is a Liberty of London Tana Lawn cotton in a sweet yellow floral. If you’re not familiar with Tana Lawn, it’s a beautifully soft cotton with a high thread count giving it a silky smooth hand. The bag has a webbing grab handle, a ring on a ribbon for your stitch markers or small tools, and a drawstring closure.

The bags measure approximately 14″ wide x 11″ tall x 5″ deep. That’s more than enough room for a large shawl project and space for most sweater projects in lightweight to medium weight yarns. The bags can be machine washed on gentle (just remove the binder ring first), hang to dry, and can be ironed. Take care to avoid the draw cords, webbing handle, and ribbon when ironing as these can be damaged by high heat.
