Waxed Canvas Collage – Explorer

Sturdy waxed canvas, a beautiful arrangement of shapes and colors – a handbag or project bag like no other! The exterior is all petroleum-free waxed canvas pieces, carefully selected and assembled to create a stunning, one-of-a-kind bag. I really enjoy creating these by carefully assembling the pieces for a balance of color and shape. I hope you’ll love them, too. Inside, the bag is lined in a gray cotton canvas in a faux waxed canvas print. There are four slip pockets and a double magnetic snap closure at the top. The bag has narrow-set black leather handles with a 12.5″ drop for carrying by hand or on your shoulder.

This is a truly unique piece. It’s roomy enough for a large project and would work equally well as a large handbag.

Waxed canvas is water resistant and wonderfully strong. Brushing off dirt, dust, or liquids right away should be enough to keep your bag looking great. The interior can be spot cleaned with a bit of well-diluted soap and water. Waxed canvas naturally acquires crease marks as it is bent and moved. If they become too much or you just want to freshen up your bag, running a warm hair dryer over the bag for a few seconds will minimize crease marks.
