XLarge Project Bag – Pink Coco

An absolutely stunning and unique extra-large project bag for your knitting and crochet projects. It’s also elegant and roomy enough to be your everyday handbag. The main exterior fabric is a beautifully textured woven fabric. It’s chunky feel reminds me of a certain designer who loved wovens like this. The top trim is cut velvet in deep pink. The base is a water-resistant, hand-waxed cotton canvas in charcoal gray. The extra long leather handles are long enough for most people to carry on the shoulder, with a 16″ drop. The bag closes with two magnetic snaps.

Inside, the bag is lined in a pink brocade. Please note this bag has a clean, unfussy interior without pockets.

The pink woven fabric, velvet, and lining are all repurposed designer fabric samples. Did you know that at the end of the season, all the pretty fabric samples at most interior designers’ shops go into the landfill? These are expensive, gorgeous fabrics made to stand up to use in upholstery or drapery – far too pretty for the trash when they can make the most beautiful bags!

Stubborn creases in the waxed canvas can be removed by gently warming the waxed canvas with a hair dryer. When needed, the fabrics can be spot cleaned with a bit of diluted soap and water.

Like everything I offer, this bag was made entirely by me in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home. It is one of a kind and ready to ship; the bag in the photos is the bag you’ll receive.
