XLarge Project Bag – Vibrant Flower

An absolutely stunning and unique extra-large project bag for your knitting and crochet projects. The main exterior fabric is a beautiful print of vibrantly colored flowers. The top trim is velvet in deep purple. The base is a water-resistant, hand-waxed cotton canvas in deep, bright blue. The extra long leather handles are long enough for most people to carry on the shoulder, with a 12.25″ drop. The bag closes with two magnetic snaps

Inside, the bag is lined in a pink brocade with two slip pockets. There’s a binder ring on a ribbon, perfect for holding your small tools like scissors, stitch holders, and stitch markers.

The floral print, velvet, and lining are all repurposed designer fabric samples. Did you know that at the end of the season, all the pretty fabric samples at most interior designers’ shops go into the landfill? These are expensive, gorgeous fabrics made to stand up to use in upholstery or drapery – far too pretty for the trash when they can make the most beautiful bags!

Stubborn creases in the waxed canvas can be removed by gently warming the waxed canvas with a hair dryer. When needed, the fabrics can be spot cleaned with a bit of diluted soap and water.

Like everything I offer, this bag was made entirely by me in my smoke-free, dog-friendly home. It is one of a kind and ready to ship; the bag in the photos is the bag you’ll receive.
